Bird of Paradise plant is potted in modern medium hight Cubico planter. Add exotic touch to your space with this elegant indoor plant.

Planter: Built in sub-irrigation system (water your plant 3 times less often in comparison to regular pots). Made by Lechuza in Germany, shatterproof, 100% recyclable plastic. Matte finish.

Splitting: Bird of Paradise leaves always have some degree of splitting. It is very common for this plant. This does not mean that the plant is not healthy. Also, some splitting and scarring of the leaves may occur from the wrapping of the plant when it is prepped for the transportation.

The most helpful staff

I love the plant but what I'm more loving from this whole experience is how helpful Juilette from the customer service been! I have been emailing back and forth regarding the location and lighting for the plant. She's very helpful.

Our home is now Paradise

We love our new roommate! The Bird of Paradise Plant is acclimating well and we are doing our best to keep it hydrated (but not too hydrated). So far soo good. It looks great and it has been a wonderful addition to our apartment. Thanks so much - easy ordering, fast delivery, and timely follow-up.

Leafs are breaking up..., curling...

Forgot to write this review since I just saw this email. The plant looks quite different than what you guys have on the site. Lots of leaves are splitting in half.

Dear Jiaming, I am sorry to see you being upset. Plant's shape and hight will always vary and that is why it might not look the same from the pictures in our online shop. Bird of paradise leaves always have some degree of splitting. It is very common for this plant. This does not mean that the plant is not healthy. Also, some splitting and scarring of the leaves may come from the wrapping of the plant when it is prepped for the transportation. We will be happy to replace your plant or suggest a different plant if that is what you will prefer. I will contact you shortly to speak to you about it.

Looks modern and great!

The plant looked as stunning as it does in the pictures. Everything from the planter and the plant look modern and very high end. Also, the care instructions make it easy to take care of it going forward.

Light Intensity Description
High Light South or southwest-facing windows. Direct sunlight.
Medium Light East or West facing windows. Partial, filtered or indirect sunlight.
Low Light North-facing windows. No more then 20 feet from the window. Bright fluorescent light at least 8-10 hours a day.

Note: if you can’t read a book as it is too dark in a certain areas than it is too dark for any plant as well.

Window direction is not the only factor to understand your light situation. What is outside the window makes a big difference. Another building, large tree, etc. will block direct light and will effect lighting environment.
